Shares in UK producer of cannabis-based medicines GW Pharmaceuticals have soared almost 160% so far this year. The stock hit a high Wednesday after Great Point Partners purchased a near 6% stake in the company. MD Justin Goiver told CNBC their medicines help multiple sclerosis sufferers.
